Houston, As I See It.

Welcome to my new blog. For a couple of years I have been collecting my thoughts on interior design, art, architecture, and all things modern on a blog called Carolina Eclectic. Although, Carolina Eclectic shows inspiration from around the world, I often enjoy writing about the creative side of the town I call home...Houston, TX.

Although, I am not a native; I have adopted Houston as my true home. I love so many things about it and want to use this blog to collect and share as many of those things as possible. Of course, we all see our environments with our own bent and that is how this blog will be written. My "bent" is for the creative and modern. I won't be writing about sports teams or big business. Instead, I will concentrate on the things I know...design, shopping, art scenes, great coffee shops, architecture, and creative people. 

I'm so excited about Houston Aesthetic and hope it becomes a great source for new-comers to Houston and even to not so new-comers:)
